Learning Technology Coach Podcast
The Learning Technology Coach podcast is produced by the Centre for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) at Memorial University. Learning Technology Coaches are current graduate students at Memorial who use their research and teaching experience to support faculty across the institution by investigating and proposing learning technologies to address instructional problems. The Podcast was initiated by the coaches as a way to broaden their understanding of how pedagogy and technology collide to create meaningful teaching and learning experiences. The series features the voices of academics, students and champions as they discuss current topics influencing higher education.

Welcome to the Learning Technology Coach podcast, where we talk to educators about adopting to the new normal.

You know, when you're face-to-face and everybody's in a room, you can play off of each other. Whereas if we are building in digital tools and building in other ways for people to participate, you're capturing different voices then.
Guest 2 (00:23):
I think the first thing is that you're trying to learn how to work in a new role after being in another role for such a long period of time. You have to learn the new job, but you also have to learn it in a new medium.
Guest 3 (00:36):
I knew I needed to do something with the labs in this course, and I stumbled upon ungrading and thought, you know what? That might work. And I had planned to do it this semester in winter of 2022. So I would say it's something I did in spite of the pandemic.
