Learning Technology Coach Podcast
The Learning Technology Coach podcast is produced by the Centre for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) at Memorial University. Learning Technology Coaches are current graduate students at Memorial who use their research and teaching experience to support faculty across the institution by investigating and proposing learning technologies to address instructional problems. The Podcast was initiated by the coaches as a way to broaden their understanding of how pedagogy and technology collide to create meaningful teaching and learning experiences. The series features the voices of academics, students and champions as they discuss current topics influencing higher education.

In series three of the Learning Technology Coach podcast, we explore the topic of artificial intelligence in higher education.

I think one of the big shifts is how to change our approaches to teaching and also encouraging students to take a different approach to learning.
Guest 2: (00:28)
I believe that with a lot of these things education is really the key. So I think that we need to educate ourselves more in what's happening in this up and coming new world, I guess, with some of the generative AI.
Guest 3: (00:40)
Developing an AI involves bad AI as well as good AI. Good AI is something that is gonna benefit the humanity and the students as well. Bad AI is something that everyone is fear of having. That's like a robot taking over the world. But obviously that's not gonna happen.
